About the Chef, the Breakfast, and ‘One Table’
I have often commented on who has knocked on my kitchen door with local food that reached my kitchen and would never see the inside of a market. From those thoughts, we have re-imagined the MHI Breakfast Experience. A menu with tastes of the very best of the East End.
‘Our menu will change in sync with the availability of what’s fresh and new in the East Ends Larder. The MHI Newsletter and our Instagram will let you know what’s new and special in our kitchen!
Food is intensely intertwined with our emotions. It conveys comfort, wonderment, warmth, and passion.
Regardless of heritage, occupation, or preference, food is a universal language. Uniting people, allowing them to experience new flavors and customs while benefiting a worthy cause, lights a fire inside everyone touched by the experience.
When we share food skills with everyone – from children to adults – our world becomes a better place. Where does our food come from? What is the difference between a local organic farm and big ag? What food should we avoid to live a healthier life? Answering these questions, and sharing the skills to cook better, makes it all worthwhile for me!’
