You know your room at the Inn is going to be lovely (and this one is — with its walls the color of a foggy afternoon, Dupioni silk curtains, hand-painted lampshades and an electric fireplace). What you’re concerned about is the view; you want what’s outside your windows to be as special as the inside. Well, it doesn’t get better than this cozy second-floor retreat. Your windows look out onto the Old Hook Mill, an iconic image of the Hamptons. It’s a picture-postcard view couples love, and it just adds to the romance of the room. Which may be why we’ve had several people book Room 5 when they’re planning to propose — and no one’s ever said, “no.”
