A historic suite with beautiful views
Immerse yourself in Hamptons history in this second-floor suite. The walls are hung with photos from the archives of the East Hampton Historical Society, the rooms are filled with locally made furniture lovingly crafted from reclaimed lumber, and from the window is a movie-set-perfect view of the Old Hook Mill. An icon of historic East Hampton which operated from 1806 to 1908, it’s open for visitors and so close that if you get cold, wet, thirsty or hungry while visiting, you can run back home for a sweater, umbrella, drink or snack in no time. And when you (and perhaps your little ones—this suite is child friendly) are ready to explore today’s Hamptons, just ask and we’ll arrange for cycle rentals so you can bike the hedgerows. We’ll even send a van to rescue you if you decide to stop in Montauk or Shelter Island and have a few drinks, and realize you’re too tired to pedal back. After a steam in your shower, a few glasses of wine in front of your fireplace, you’ll be revitalized and ready to head out to dinner.
