‘Carolyn's Kitchen’ What I am thinking about this week…
….who’s making the next cup of coffee!
@ the ‘nack & coffee bar
Our Captain of Caffeine, J, is serious about his coffee which gives us a serious buzz every morning (and throughout the day!).
With the best coffee available, you can rest assured we don’t leave a pot to sit throughout the day……every cup of coffee is brewed to order for you. We have our pour over or sowden soft brew brewing systems to produce your drink of choice. Both methods were created to guarantee a richer, more flavorful cup of coffee. We also have an espresso machine and are happy to make your favorite drink – just the way you like it..
Try a cold brew iced coffee or a café affogato (a shot of espresso over Joe & Liza’s Vanilla Ice Cream) while enjoying the view of the windmill on our front porch.
- Irving Farm Blackstrap Espresso – dances with layers of aromas and flavors
- Valhalla Java Odin Force Blend – carefully crafted for guitarist, Zakk Wylde
- Deathwish Coffee – The World’s Strongest Coffee
- Baby’s Hemingway “Hair of the Dog”- dark roast with a smooth finish
‘Do you sell the Coffee? Where can I buy it? You all are serious about coffee, but man is it good.’
‘You can smell the coffee as soon as you walk in the door. That is such an amazing aroma!’
‘What a lovely place you have here. The front porch where you can sit in the morning and read the paper and have some coffee is absolutely beautiful.’
PS: Don’t forget to visit our friends at Amber Waves Farms where they are offering pick your own raspberries and flower bouquets Tuesday – Sunday 10am – 6pm while the crop lasts!
We have quite a few requests to join us for breakfast. Since we are not open to the general public, in order to dine our breakfast experience without being an overnight guest you have the opportunity to win a gift certificate from one of the many causes we support.
